Stream music to any room in your house wirelessly using iHome’s speaker with built in AirPlay support. I think hardware vendors will now begin to add AirPlay support to their speakers. Now you can just drop a few of these around the house and listen to music in any room wirelessly. Control all the speakers using the Remote iOS app and iTunes.
I bought some new Altec Lancing speakers the other day, and I have to say I would highly recomend theese to anyone. What I like about them is that they have a built in subwoofer in each speaker thereby saving space on your desktop. The audio is exceptioanl as well.
Just bought a Belkin Laptop Cooling Pad at Fry’s yesterday, and so far I’m impressed. I didn’t think these things would make a difference. Now I don’t have to withstand the heat coming from the bottom of my laptop. Also, the built in fan is powered off the USB port on my MacBook Pro.
Today, the HT-S9100THX system was announced and it has its sights set on HD theater buffs across the country. The 7.1-channel system (130W/channel) includes THX’s Loudnes Plus technology and comes with four HDMI v1.3a ports. The more HDMI ports, the better, I say.
